By making a reservation with Travels In Wine Tours you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Travels In Wine customers are allowed to board if they have not made a reservation as long as there are enough seats available to do so, those will be cash only transactions. There is no assigned seating at anytime. When requesting accessible travel, contact Travels In Wine at 888-634-3939 at least 48 hours in advance of your requested tour date.
***Please be at pick up location at least 10 to 15 minutes early. If all passengers are there except one person we will
not wait. If you are not there when bus pulls up we will assume you are not going, you are welcome to
catch us at next stop and get on there but we will NOT wait for you if you miss your ride you forfeit your tour for that day.
PLEASE NOTE : WEATHER ADVISORY
During the winter the weather can be unpredictable.
If Travels In Wine so chooses to cancel that days trip due to bad weather,
we will call you with the number you provided us with at time of reservation.

Are reservations required
Travels In Wine requests that all passengers begin making reservations by calling the office at 888-634-3939.
WE do reserve the right to cancel the tour for lack of reservations. Therefore, the more that begin making reservations,
the more efficient and reliable Travels In Wine will be.
What are the age requirements?
The legal age to drink is 21.
Can I leave my belongings in the vehicle?
We are often asked about gratuity for the driver/tour guide-The suggested amount is 15 to 20% but this is left to your discretion.
*They are greatly appreciated as our goal is to go above and beyond what you expect as a customer, the gratuity reflects what a great job we are doing for you.
According to www.Tipping.org the etiquette is a minium of $10 up to 15% to 20% of tour cost.
Dress is casual, wear what you think will be comfortable for you. We will be spending time outside in the vineyards, we highly recommend dressing in layers or bringing a jacket in case the weather is chilly. We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes; we do walk out in the vineyards unless weather does not permit.
Tours Run Rain or Shine-Only in Icy or snowing weather will tours be cancelled.
Please let us know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions. We will be serving a BBQ lunch for the Asheville/Hendersonville tour and Deli Sandwiches for the Charlotte tour.. Wine at lunch is not included however the winery where we eat does offer wines by the glass or you can purchase a bottle, pricing varies on the type you purchase- if you do not finish it we make room in the vehicle to keep it as well as all other wines that you may purchase throughout the day (the vineyards you visit do not distribute outside of their winery). On the Asheville/Hendersonville tour, you may also purchase the new "wine" ice cream" we provide coolers and dry ice to keep the ice cream nice and cold for you till the end of the day.
Ice cream tastings are $3.00 each for 4 flavors.
We are often asked how we handle guest purchases of wine at the vineyards- We will be providing you with tasting sheets for each of the vineyards we visit-if wines are purchased we attach it to your tasting sheet so its easy for you to take at the end of the day and there is no confusion with other guest.
We also have a cooler on board, during really hot days we will keep wines in the cooler to avoid overheating.
The Asheville/Hendersonville tour is to meet at The Hendersonville Visitors Center and they have asked that when parking for our tours that you park in the parking lot closest to the Wells Fargo Bank building (not in the Wells Fargo building). We will meet you outside in the parking lot . For the Charlotte tours we meet at the Northlake Mall in the Park and Ride (directly across from Dillards) there is ample parking there are in the Dillards parkling lot.
Vehicles vary depending on size of group so please look for the Travels In Wine Tours logo or our After 5 Express logo on the side of the vehicle.
In addition to the normal required insurance that, as a bus tour operator we must carry, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance.

Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
As stated above Travels In Wine reserves the right to cancel any trip/tour prior to departure.
Should a cancellation happen, We will make every effort to protect you on another departure date.
If an alternate cannot be found, a full credit will be applied.
Should you decide to change a reservation after you have already paid a minimum administrative fee of $25 per person may be charged.
A change will include changing of names or a change of tour date.
No refunds for "no shows".
